Square Dancing today is a fun activity for adults of all ages. A great night out with friends, Portsmouth's Square Dance Club attracts young adults-on-up from Bristol, Warren, Swansea, Rehobeth, Seekonk, Barrington, Middletown, Portsmouth, Newport, Tiverton, and Little Compton, Rhode Island. Dance lessons are held on Sunday afternoons, and the club usually holds regular dances on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. Members of the club also travel around the Rhode Island and the southeastern Massachusetts area visiting area clubs. Ordinary casual clothes are worn at lessons and fun night.
